Thus far 228 components have gone into the fabrication of the RA4 engine abstract. I will venture to say that upon completion the total should exceed 300.

Gumby had a hand in the assembly of the engine cylinder components. Some TLC and color and they should work out fine. Now his attention turns to 12 cylinder heads.

Ogre's RAF4a engine is a V twelve air cooled design. Just making prototypes of cylinders. Maybe one more prototype. Gumby has contacted our design consultants for a consensus. Final design of the cylinder will be determined after the Fuselage is fabricated,

The, home brewed, spoke wheel project comes to a close. Spoke wheels can now be “home brewed” to fit most scales that I may require. From left to right, Surgical silk wheels for Ogre, Fishing line monofilament wheel for a future build, and the Kevlar spoke wheels that I used on Nunzio. The Kevlar wheel has a wooden rim and a simpler lacing pattern. BTW for what it is worth, the DAP spackle, to Gumby’s right, has the Gumby seal of approval and is readily available at the Home Depot or Lowe’s.

A new metal hub design to facilitate lacing with monofilament fishing line. I have drawn a lacing diagram. Those who interested, please contact me.
