Forgot to use black tissue so I have to paint the nose, but it should be fine. Esitmated AUW is 20 grams plus the weight of crystal clear and decals. |

But even the balsa sections are quite strong, notice the laminated bracing visible on the inside of the far wall. This gives me confidence that the Tyro will be a durable first flyer. |

AUW is 5.82 ounces, which makes the wing loading 6 oz/ft^2 (nearly as much as the MM Hellcat). Mostly to blame is that I have 3x110 mAh NiCd for the motor and 4x300 mAh NiMh for the radio and servo. |
