Gentlemen remember me? We are 40 hours into the scratch built Mig-3. My Boss says that now the "fun work" of detailing the fuselage will begin. This is a modified Mig published by E Sthal in 1943. Larger scale, bass, not balsa.

Don't think I will add extra wood as we plan on covering it with aluminum (front) and wood (rear), just like the original. Now I can construct and detail the cockpit while the "Boys" build the tail and wings!

Boris and Yegor remove the clamps. Building two sides at once worked. I reved the plans thru the computer. When the boys matched the side they fit almost "purrfect"! This bird is 1/13 scale, inches that is. Wingspan should be a tad over 28".
