After wrestling the snow thrower again, I helped Gumby sheet the lower surface of the lower wings. Carbon rods pass thru the fuselage and align and hold the lower airfoils. |

On the BE, the guns could be pointed forward or straight upward. Without the benefit of sights, it seems that they were intended for “Belly shots” at Zeppelins. |

The pilot could raise and lower the guns through a lever and cable system in order to change the ammunition canisters. |
