I agree with David, this has more braces than a teenager. Not that you can tell it yet, but starting with this picture I've upgraded from a point-and-shoot to a DSLR so image qualit should go up over time as I learn to use it.

I had been very apprehensive about the windows, but it turned out to be easy enough and was just slow going waiting for the canop glue to dry. In several places my application of glue could have been a lot less sloppy, but it sn't terrible.

Covered dry with medium weight silkspan and UHU glue stick then shrunk with a mist of water. I thought about covering the cowl wet, but decided instead to go bare wood with many coats of dope to seal and smooth it.

I'm building for static so the nose gets glued together. I've also gone to solid wing tips which is what I should have done in the first place.

The SRK doesn't have a plastic cowl so a short section of it is stick and former construction with 1/32" sheting and the rest is laminated 3/32" pieces that will get sanded to shape.
