Don, how many times did you smack a wing moving around the room? |
Don C | 23-Sep-14 18:55 |
Me - never, but the cat in trying to escape the dog jumped from the stairs and used it as a mid point. I just put a pic up. I just about cried. Poor old cat is still around, but the dog is gone. The nose art is on the real plane. I have pictures of all of it, but they wouldn't upload. The wing is actually held on by 3 machine bolts from underneath. It hangs upstairs well out of reach now. |

Fantastic! Looks great!. One of these days I will get back to building mine. Had to take a break from the plane models.
I just love this plane. |

Thanks Heywooood. First build in about 45 years and if not my favorite, it's # 2. The original flew out of Port Moresby, New Guinea in 1943, 43rd Bomb Group, 63rd Squadron. I got to fly in the EAA's Aluminum Overcast. Can't tell you how much I admire the guys who flew these. |
