| poppy | 02-May-09 07:17 | | The reason for time spent on ID of parts is because plans and numbers on parts do not match and there are no details of parts shape on plans. Simpleflyer did a great job of separating the small parts and banding the formers and ribs together. Lucky for me that missing parts had a mate to use as pattern, 2 ribs and 2 spars. I also had to re-glue some plywood parts that had become delaminated over the years. But overall, not bad for a 52 year old kit. |
