| Roring40 Thanks for the reply she is one of my oldest of all my collection built at the end of the niffty fifties when i had the duty or got off watcg i went down below the bosons locker where i kept my private shop at and built it When I was aboard the U.S.S. KEARSARGE when in port I flew on the flight deck the the old man got a kick out of it once in a while he would tease me about it. Thanks Boats |

| I found me a Fox .35 engine Iall it and give it a fly this weekend. i hope I done get a case of vergo I hate to crash and burn this one. |

Yes sir, she was once powered by the old McCoy .19 back in those days those old engines didn,t last to long they wore out and you had to go back to your dealer and buy another.Back then not bad on your wallot around $5.00 Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh the good old days. Boats |

| I remember that Fox put out some of their engines with real bearings, and the life of the motor depended on which variation of fuel you used. You would get more power out of a mixture with less Castor Oil, but as you said, you would get to the shop more often. See even back then we were fixated on more power. The McCoy 35 went on sale once for $6.95 and I got two. Both are long gone. |

| Ahoy Luke Thanks for the reply yep that right this the reason why the old McCoy engine didn,t last long they had no bearingings on their engines, Fox Kand B had thm and they were made to last. also useing cheap castro oil didn,t help matter much neither. Boats |
