David Duckett | 12-Aug-07 22:29 | JFB!! The first letter stands for Just, the last letter stands for Beautiful. !! |
trotro | 12-Aug-07 23:09 | un trabajo muy impresionante, realmente tus aviones destacan en la comunidad de virtual aerodrome....!
10 out of 10!! |
jerry campbell | 12-Aug-07 23:57 | Words are inadequate, but David letters come very close. |
plasticbuddha | 13-Aug-07 00:16 | Wow. poppy!!! Just fabulous! Straps on the belly tank, hinges on the ailerons...etc. Talk about attention to details. Now you're going to have to scratchbuild the carrier deck to display this bad boy on!! I'm assuming that Clarence is actually 1/18th scale? Close enough that you can actually do a diorama with him and a flight deck crew. Again, simply superb! |
doodle | 13-Aug-07 06:08 | Wow...almost feel like one could fly the thing |
poppy | 13-Aug-07 10:17 | Thanks guys, you are too kind. A few Sam Adams, more than a few profanities, and about 350 hrs., excluding time DD spent on prop. |
hjlittman | 13-Aug-07 10:35 | As I said before, Museum Quality! This could be in the Smithsonian. |
jgood | 13-Aug-07 10:58 | Poppy, I hope you open up those garage doors, and let the neighbourhood kids come in to view the masterpiece. Maybe you can convince one or two of them to try a balsa kit instead of having another game on the Wii... The prop is great too, was this a virtualaerodrome collaboration?! |
poppy | 13-Aug-07 12:01 | Yes, it was a collaboration on your site. Hope to have many more, and many thanks, youngster, for this wonderful venue. |
