Started on the pit. Fuel mix quadrant installed. Shiny mirror like wall is the ammo box....held MG belts before and after firing.

Interesting.. How did the armorers empty it after a sorte?

Pull the pins on the MGs and they popped off. The box was then accessible as there was no cover.
