Thanks, photo is a bit blurry but yes the wheels are fully retractable/extendable. The closed doors over the u/c legs in the retracted position are removeable and are replaced with "open door" replacements after the gear is extended and the wheels are rotated through 90 degrees. Similarly the tail wheel "closed door" is also replaceable with an extended tail wheel and open doors. I'll get some better shots when its complete. |

Nice. Do the prints for this plane show it to be built this way or is the moveable landing gear thing your idea ? I have built alot of the Guillows planes over the years that I don't have any more because of moving several times and I never built this particular plane... jut asking. |

By the way, at dusk when the lighting dims but not dark and I stand/sit a few feet away from my B-29 it looks awesome. I wish u could see it this way. Pictures can suck. |

Intruder the retractable u/c is definitely custom built (quite a painful exercise working it out but I got there). |
