BriandKilby | 27-Feb-11 15:13 | i went from prefering die-cut guillow's to laser-cut dumas. |
lukebozek1 | 27-Feb-11 22:00 | I really liked these kits, but I must admit that there is a certain charm with cutting out the parts and pieces of the Comet Kits. The edges with the charcoal bleed thru the tissue, so watch out! |
TJH | 28-Feb-11 06:37 | Laser cut pieces make quick work, but like lukebozek1 said, the charcoal edges bleed through; I learned this with my Tiger Moth which was my first laser kit. |
David Duckett | 28-Feb-11 06:45 | The brown on the edges can easily be sanded away without damaging the piece. |
lukebozek1 | 28-Feb-11 07:00 | I didn't know that when I built a Piper-Zebra with my yellow tissue. I will file this with my soft wood plug thing. Boy it's cold here! High of 83 degrees, sunny all day. Just another boring day at the pool. |
BillParker | 28-Feb-11 09:11 | Yep, chilly here too... 80 degrees, and I have to go mow the back yard... |
BriandKilby | 28-Feb-11 09:27 | 60 here. |
TJH | 28-Feb-11 11:30 | finally above 50° here, but raining :-( |
FLYBOYZ | 28-Feb-11 18:41 | woe!I like this!I have not build a dumas kit this looks so cool! |
