| wingspanner | 04-May-08 17:26 | | I'd like to recreate the timber panels using sheet balsa. I was going to use a wood stain. I will have to run tests to see how the filler reacts first. Also i thought of scoring the panels lines and then staining hopefully the stain will be darker where the score lines are resulting in panel lines.Any help would be appreciated... |
| John M Oshust | 04-May-08 17:44 | | Off the top of my head...use Elmer's wood filler as it takes stain. Test the balsa with stain first before making the plane and sealing. |
