Creosotewind 10-Feb-09 12:59 You might try kerfing the inner portion, cutting a series of vertical slots on the back side, about 3/4 of the way through. Enough slots will allow the wood to flex so you can manipulate it into position. moostang51 10-Feb-09 17:58 Kerfing might work, but with only a 3 lam plywood, you'd probably have to dampen the kerfed side also as the graining in a hem or doug fir veneer is pretty rigid at the color variations and a stepped effect might occur at the glue points. I would have cut the ply cross grain and it probably wouldve bent much easier, No kerfing just moisten the backside, apply CA and clamp. Please sign in to comment on this image.
