They were only short, one ending with a decent landing, the other with a landing on grass which broke a landing gear strut, easily repaired. jgood 23-Jul-07 21:55 The wheels didn't work too well. The paper covers I installed over the spokes flew off after the first take-off. Have to rethink them! The magnetically attached cowling and the motor mount worked as planned on the nose-over grass landing, so that was good. No damage. Power was good, but handling was, well, a hand-full. It could point to CofG issues, or lack aileron authority, or just the handling characteristics of the design.
