Ground loops have for some reason reared their ugly head so I have been hand launching. jgood 26-Feb-08 19:49 My Fairchild is very squirly on the ground too, as is the Triplane (even more so actually). I assume it's something to do with the torque from the prop at this size of airframe? You really have to go easy on the throttle I think. VP46 26-Feb-08 19:52 Maybe thats all it is but Yesterday I was able to ROG with zero issues. A hard landing cause some minor damage that required I fix the Incidence and Dihedral. I also adjusted the motor for a little down thrust - that could be whats playing hovoc... That tri-plane is just amazing. Please sign in to comment on this image.
