jgood | 21-Feb-08 00:06 | And I finally get a clear, cloud free shot when it's almost over... |
sweetwillie | 21-Feb-08 00:09 | D__n I forgot all about the eclipse. |
SteveM | 21-Feb-08 00:50 | Wow, that's a nice picture. I take it you have more than the 6x zoom that I have. |
hjlittman | 21-Feb-08 11:05 | It was cloudy out on the left coast too. I had a good view of it starting as I drove home from work. I get home, get my telescope out, and a nice black cloud parks itself in front of the moon. Oh, well! You can't win them all. |
cdwheatley | 21-Feb-08 11:44 | Nice photo James. Unfortunately I was clouded out too :-( It's been clear here for several days and nights before this but, of course, the one night when I actually WANT it to be clear the clouds decide to roll in - typical! Howard, what kind of telescope do you have? |
supercub | 21-Feb-08 17:34 | Same thing for me, but where I live the clouds were moving, and i did see it some, but I also could not get a picture of it, I tried several times, but the camera didn't ever focus in on it. |
Xanadu | 21-Feb-08 20:48 | We were lucky, had a clear night.....kinda interesting to see the angle differance from where this one was taken, compared to ours. The "end nib" on ours is to the right, at a 45* instead of straight down and towards. |
