Think I got my method for instrument panels down. I actually cut the individual instrument out from the sheet in the box and pasted them to a thin cardboard panel of my own. Then I cut another panel from a slide projector sheet. I cut out some small circles over where the gauges would show through. Then I painted over it and bingo. Gives it that glass gauge look in the light. |

My method is more simple: I search photos of the panel I whant on the web or for fighter in game "il2" and I reduce it with paint. print it and glue on cocpit. iT's ready ! |

That is one of the best scratch-built cockpit details I've ever seen! Thank you for sharing it here. Now I need to duplicate your technique on my P-38 instrument pannel.
