Ahoy Fellas thanks for your replies, Yes she is a very good flyer I just got back from the field a little windy but the albatross can take it.. not much of a floater like most tail draggers you have to come in for a landing with full up elevators and a little throttle to keep her from nosing over.. In all perspectives she is a very stable flyer this is the first ready to fly Rc plane I ever had. for the money you cant beat it the kit is produced in two different offerings BNF bind and fly which everything is ready to go less transmitter,Which my plane is and the other is just the plane itself less RC equipment, The cost is not as ,much as the BNF version, The transmitter is sold separately it uses a spectrum radio using this transmitter you can purchase as many Parkzone flyers you can handle the electronics works on this radio system. boats |

i got a question for you boats, how is the upper wing attached, i always had trouble on connecting a high wing to the fuselage on one of my planes. do you have ailerons too? wingspan? it really is a beaut! |
deckape | 03-Jun-13 12:00 |
Ahoy Briand The upper wing is attached by a interlocking tab on the bottom of the top wing the cabin struts fit into this tab then the cabin struts are screwed into the sides of the fuselage reverse the procedure and the wing will come off for transport. Yes the plane has ailerons its a four channel flyer one thing that is great about this bird like most RTF everything is ready to go with the exception of the transmitter, the plane is designed to fly on a spectrum four channel radio DX type spectrum.. no other transmitter or safe link will work on this. for more info go to you tube and click on park zone albatross it will give more then what I have described here. My wonderful wife paid only $200.00 for this the kit list for $250.00 BNF bind and fly, park zone also produces the same kit in the PNP version Plug in and play the cost is lot lesser then the BNF version. you will need all the electronics for the albatross with the exception of the 480 electric motor brushless. Get one of the Briand you will be a happy airdale. Boats |
