SteveM | 09-Mar-08 13:58 | All covered in new paper from Easy Build using the glue stick method. |
scigs30 | 09-Mar-08 15:36 | Looks great, I don't care what anyone says, domestic tissue is ok. |
SteveM | 01-Feb-11 07:57 | I'm guessing the Dumas Bearcat is using this same blue tissue or maybe a slightly different shade of it. |
John Cooper | 01-Feb-11 11:47 | Great covering job. Domestic tissue has some great advantages. It is more opaque than Japanese tissue. It shrinks equally in all directions. It also has less strength when it shrinks. This is good because it is less likely to warp wings and tails. |
SteveM | 01-Feb-11 14:46 | Ahh, thanks for the info, I was wondering why it was so much more manageable than the kit tissue had been. Some day I'll have to face Japanese tissue and do some proper pre-shrinking. |
