Great picture David. This beauty flies from my local airport and I've been lucky enough to get an inside view on a couple of occasions. I have managed to secure some plans to make a model of it with a 36" wingspan. |

My first ever flight was in (a series 19 version) of one of these at RAF Kenley UK! 1955 Will never forget that trip. |

Hi Skye'D - I was a spotty 14 year old in the ATC (A cadet force for the RAF. Also had a magic flight in a Gloster Meteor mark 7 - stunning for an air-minded lad! |

Sky! I just dug out mt ATC flying log-book, the Anson was RAF #244 and the date Oct 20th 1957 - doubt that she is still around, but I will look through those pics that David linked to us. |

Dad, yes, I think it was scrapped in '63. :(
