Good looking Waco there Boats! Is the solarfilm heat activated? I've never used it, but I have heard it can warp, and or crush light balsa builds if you're not careful. |

Ahoy Paul yes this is true if you over do it the kit of this caliber can be covered with lite monokote covering or simular type but when useing this covering material you dont want to over heat it with your sealing Iron. The Balsa will crush if you use the standard type covering the lite material as suggested on the instruction booklet that comes with the kit gives you the option of useing the tissue in the kit or use a light weight monokote type covering. I chose the lite covering its stronger then tissue and you cant poke holes in the tisue when handeling the model. Boats |

Fancy looking model boats, is it one of the 30" Dumas series?

Nice Waco! After checking out your pics, I realized your model is actually Dumas kit 1807 with 35" wingspan as compared to my Waco, Dumas kit 227 with 18" wingspan. Hope your Waco turns out to be a good electric RC flyer. |

Thanks fellas I,m quite certain she will fly the right dihedral is set in per plans she is light as a feather I dont think its good idea to fly her in a windy day she might crash and burn, Today I got me a EPU 2828 motor plus speed controll and two S-60 servos under #70.00. Boats |
