| HA! Flying? really far off. I had to redesign the where the servos are located for the rudder and elevator. Some minor tweeks for the aileron servo, and instead of the metal motor mount for the Eflite park 150 - using a carbon tube style mount instead. The balsa ring cowling needs to be redone as well or maybe just a bit more sanding to get it to a 3gm weight. I'm shooting for
less than 3oz AUW - so the image you see here is about 1.7oz. I'll try and hand toss it with some dummy weight to see what it does first after when I finish covering it. |

| BTW pfinn, I went to Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and majored in illustration. When I was in the matte painting department for UP I couldn't resist not building this plane when I saw the sketches. I'm an illustrator here at Pixar and a fanatic for model box cover art (vintage guillows/hasegawa boxes). I do have a couple series 500 kits mocked up for rc. Since that new Spectrum ar6400 reciever/servo/esc combo is out - everything seems possible. :) |

| Hey Mr. Huey. I tore apart one of the little Parkzone Sukois for the same gear. I've been waiting along with everybody else for those components. I used the motor out of the Sukoi in my "Holiday" along with the board from the EmberII (only needed 3 channels) here at VA (see my hanger). Those components make a very nice and verstile combo. If you buy the Sukoi bind n' fly and gut it, it's actually cheaper than buying the components separately. That motor will definately fly a Guillows 500 ser. with a GWS 4.5x 4 prop. with ailerons I'd go for the 5x4.3. And get a 15c 130Mah battery (Common Sense). The Eindecker gets one next as well as the BV-215 (Glider though).

| Wow! What can I say? You slipped this one under the radar didn't you? It's an absolute peach and a joy to watch the build. Wish there was a kit or plans available. It would have to go ahead of my Polikarpov, Spit and Cessna 182 i've just bought..... |
