A flight shot of the model. We call it the 'super cloudbuster' as it is an evolution of a Guillows 4301 Cloud Buster that we built and still fly. If James would kindly add this aircraft to the aircraft list, I will post some pictures of how the model was developed. |

simpleflyer came over to my backyard one morning recently, and we flew a few of his planes. The teather thing is a gas! If the wind is low and the plane large enuff, you can play out a mile of string and actually control the plane thru airspeed and a flick of the wrist. If you pay close enuff attention to what you're doing you can keep the plane from getting too beat up as well. Big Fun! |

Thanks, James, for adding the 4000 range to the site.
thanks, Bill, for the comments about the swing control models. I couldn't have said it better. Only additional comments that I can add are: the models are very affordable and easy to build and trim and can be flown almost anytime in the backyard. And as you said, they are a lot of fun.

I have a whole new crop of 500 series Guillow's warbirds just waiting to be converted to swing planes over here. You should come see me, and let's get going. All I need is a cane pole from Walmart, eh? |

Bill, I've got some free time coming up in the latter part of October. I'll get in touch with you in early Oct and we'll set up a 'fly day' and I'll bring some 'swingers' and tools and we'll get some of those 500 series flying. Hopefully, we will have cooler weather by then???? |

You know, you're a smart man. We'd last about 12 minutes (maybe) out there right now. I'm in! Just gimme a days notice and I'll clear my plate... |
