DD, you may have opened a can of worms. Picked this off Ebay a couple of days ago. I know a guy who flies these out of Andrews and the tail letters are "DC". Don't know if it will be as interesting as the F-14, but they are nice kits. |

Saw that, but I'm getting ahead of myself. A couple of weeks ago I got a Sterling Ford Trimotor which was to be the next build until I found the F-16. At my age I usually don't even buy green bananas. :) |

Here is a build thread I posted on the Guillow's site when I built this kit...my technique was still early in development so it's a bit rough to say the least. But it is a great kit and goes together pretty easily compared to the Tomcat

My F-18 and F-14 builds are available there too, along with the F-4 from Today's Hobbies if anyone is interested. That F-18 canopy is a challenge to trim to a proper shape and fit. DD has it worked out so I would use his effort as a guide for sure. This F-16 had no serious challenges other than the leading edge extensions to the forward fuselage. The landing gear 'cradle' idea worked out well. The airplane looks too good with the gear up not to model it that way - but I wanted it both ways lol..this solution might work for you too |

Thanks Kevin. I like the LG idea. Nice looking model. |
