Using a single loop of 3/16 with prop supplied with the kit. Single loop is 15 inches of F.A.I. tan.

Great idea for a winding stooge donkill! I like the rear uprights to hold the rear motor pegs of different sized models. Looks like that plane could fly forever! I don't know the lingo, but I am assuming a "single loop of 15 inches" = 30" when stretched out straight- is that right ?

And what is the wingspan on this?

I just made it from aluminum channel and 1/8 inch plywood. The rubber is two strands 15 inches in length or one single 15 inch long loop. The 600 series Guillows Lancer has a 24 inch wing span. Next time out i am going to use a 4 strand 1/8 inch motor about as long. This model is a bit under powered with the single loop.

Where do you fly Donkill? It looks like a big park. There are no rc planes or rc drones allowed in our Jackson Park. A guy was flying a huge drone at dusk with several underside navigation lights, 300 feet in the air, and filming the sun, stars, etc etc, to send away the film for analysis (amateur astronomer) - told me he wasn't allowed by law to fly above 100 feet. Then the "Auxiliary Police" showed up - I high-tailed it out of there with my Cabinaire when I saw them coming - they talked to him for a long time - kicked him out - don't know if he got fined or not - there are real planes, 500 feet above ground level, flying to and from the airport over Jackson park in Windsor, Ontario.

That was at Patriot Park just south of Michigan City Indiana. It is the largest open public area i could find around here. There are a number of large open fields , but they are private .
