Just my own private protest over the New Zealand Labour Governments decision to dispand 75 Squadron a few years ago, the history of which dates back to the early days of WW2. P's me off more than a bit!!!! |

Here here Gary. What kind of a tin pot country has an airforce without guns ! Just as well that we have some classic WW1 & WW2 fighters in private handless or else we'd be defenceless. |

Yep you're not wrong there Nigel. I'm glad I can rest easy in my bed at night knowing that our forces of Sopwith Camels/Tiger Moths/Hardards/Yaks/P40 x 1/Mustang x 1 and possibly a couple of Spitfires, (in verious stages of repair or readiness), are always at the ready to come to our defence should anyone be stupid or bored enough to envade our lands. |

I took some time, and read up on this issue. You have the condolences of the Great State of Texas! We recently lost the 111 FS out of Ellington here. |

Thats sad news Bill - once the rot sets in ........ currently our entire jet strike force is shrinkwrapped in plastic and awaiting sale as a museum curio to a US collector ! The only jets we hear are private ones or commercial airliners ! |
