This look real nice, but you might consider, in the future, using card stock. If you laminate two pieces, while the glue is still drying, you can wrap it around curved shapes and it will dry in that shape. It can also be sanded and doesn't have grain to deal with. |

Don - did you try Evergreen sheet styrene? it comes pretty thin..or if you have any plastic packaging like the blister packs that batteries and the like are sold in. I use that stuff a lot. sometimes I cut out the flat sections for windows and gauge bezels and sometimes you get lucky and the shape or curve they are blistered to are just right for small parts like these. Just a thought. |
