Thanks for the feedback guys, there is something about the P51, and although challenging in chrome monocote it is a very nice finish for this particular plane. If I were to do it again I would likely sheet the fuse with 1/32 balsa to make the job of covering far easier. Yes David :-) just as I finished ironing on the insignia I checked to see which side it -should- have been on... Oops. The AUW is 300 gr. with 800mAh 2C - the rest of the details are covered in other photos. I hope it is a flyer poppy ! |

Droid, actually, that might be a bit of a concern actually, I bet it will be very difficult to see up there in the sky. Good luck with the maiden flight, and do let us know how it goes! |
