Exhaust is causing problems. These are styrene tubes. Not right. I'm open to ideas. Actually I need ideas.

Don, how about aluminum tubing? I get it from my LHS in many sizes. Cut a length longer that you need. Insert a piece of wire, the kind used in electronics, to keep the tube from collapsing. Then squeeze the tube, bench vice or Chanel locks, to creat a novel shape. Then bend it over something to make the radius you need.

Thanks, Huey. I'll give that a try. Tried brass first, but that didn't go right either. Maybe if I bend a hundred or so I'll be able to find 12 that work.

Huey's ideas sound good to me. Huey, do you have a link or address to LHS? I hope to build the F4B biplane and I'm sure I could use some aluminum tubing that are airfoil shaped for struts. Don, your model is turning out really nice. Glad to see it as anything but a "D" version. You doing detail it inside and out?
