Sitting in front of it's successor. When the weather clearsI'll try for some sunlit pictures. |

Well done, Don. |

Thanks, Ray. Have you figured out how many rivets you're looking at? |

Is the successor a Curtis Racer?
I just got the 2 sheets of "O" scale rivets from Micromark yesterday, they are quite large sheets. I really didn't know what to expect, but they look like they will work. I would guess that I will use all of one sheet doing the rivet thing. |

Beautiful Don. We see lots of these in Northern Ontario lakes especially when our family go fishing in July at Rice Lake. Love watching student pilots getting their float endorsement in a DeHavilland Beaver. |

This is a beautiful work of 3D art. The excellent craftsmanship and eye catching details make this a master model!!! JFB!! |

Thanks for the kind words, DD too. For years our friend and neighbor Dan Ross flew it for the MN DNR from our small lake. He also flew a Marine med evac chopper in Viet Nam. |

Don, eyes still holding out. Will be posting the S.E. 5 on the stitching in a bit. Your Beaver looks great. Are you going to donate it to the family of the original pilot? Are they aware of it? |

Sky, the answer to both is probably no. Once I get a really good picture I'll send it to his wife. Then we'll just take it from there. |
