| heywooood | 05-Dec-20 22:40 | | as I note in the videos the Guillow's engineer split the cowling in half - the cowling on the Republic P-47 was massive and in reference to the kit, would have extended from former #2 to the nose. The firewall would and should have been where former #2 is. instead we have former #1 cutting right through our motor. Rather than change the fuselage and do a bunch of surgery on the kit I just buried the motor in former #1 - now all I have to do is make the seam between the plastic part and the balsa fuselage disappear.. |
