Were you at Woodstock, Bill?
BillParker04-Dec-09 13:59
No, man... I was still a little kid in '69.... You like my flower power pastelly grummans?
BillParker04-Dec-09 14:00
They may however actually be light unuff to fly....

next time, try sanding the chalk off of the sticks, and then brushing on the dust

cool idea... Problem is I realized that it was going to be easy to use way too much chalk. Way too heavy is what I mean. I was able this way to use half a stick of blue, and a tenth of a stick of black to darken it. Then a third of a stick of green for the intermediate color. The stuff is heavy. Prolly won't try it again on a big plane anyway, but on the little ones, I'm going to do some actual cammo.

Hello Bill. You may want to try some artists "Pastels" instead of chalk. They have WAY more pigment in them than "Chalk". You can buy only the colors you need individually, or a set. An O.K. brand is "Rembrandt". "Nupastel"s are harder. Remember not to buy the "Oil" pastels, they're like insane crayons. Personally, I love 'em! Haven't tried them on a model though....Hmmm...yet!
