Ok...I really like working with EZE-Dope and silkspan! When applied wet, you can apply large pieces without difficulty. It sands completely smooth. Seams disappearr in regards to contour. Nice product

That's been my experience too. Just need to thin the correct amount. I use it right out of the bottle to attach tissue to the model, then thinned for shrinking and filling. And NO smell plus water clean-up!

does eze-dope work better than regular dope as to warping on thin balsa parts such as elevators?
edtherenderman29-Jul-20 13:07
I had this issue with the Taube and the Hannover. It's more a function of the tissue shrinking that caused the warping. I found that I had to be very careful about applying the tissue to avoid warps at the start. Then, when I applied the EZE-Dope, I did one coat on one side and weighed or pinned the edges to keep it from warping. Once dry, flipped it over and did the other side the same way. Repeat until you get the surface you want.

They look very good. How do you spray the EZ Dope - spray bottle or paint sprayer?
Striamed130-Jul-20 21:10
Used a spray bottle wiped gently with a peper towel to get off excess/smooth things out. Water on tissue to start, 30% EZE dope for first coat to get it to stick. 50% EZE Dope x 2 coats.
