Do it gently but remember some areas might require more effort than others. If you used an enamel or lacquer try using their respective thinners. heywooood 22-Sep-20 19:48 What clear coat did you use? I use Tamiya semi gloss clear and have had success using mild Testors ‘airbrush cleaner’ on a q-tip. You have to wait for the coating to fully cure - then mask the pane or panes you want to clean. Cover the painted frames around each pane that needs cleaning and carefully wipe toward the center of the pane. You dont want to push solvent toward (or under) the tape edges. Work from the middle of each tape strip toward the center of each window and just address the spots where you have a problem. Striamed1 23-Sep-20 21:20 Thank you both for the input.
