Frame assembled and rough sanded. Will take a break while I decide if I want to build to fly or for display.

I like the look of this kit very much, and wish it was readily available over here. The Corsair has long been one of my favourite planes and I'd definitely like to build one, although I don't think I'm quite ready for Guillow's series 100 giant scale kit yet!

Series 1000 I meant.

This is not as large as the Guillow kit and from what I can see not nearly as complicated. Corsairs are great fun. Dumas kits are made here in Tucson so I'll be happy to go get whatever you want and send it to you. This is a very nice looking build.

Wow, that's really a very kind offer indeed David, thank you :-) I may well be contacting you sometime soon to that effect. How much do these kits sell for? They look similar in size and complexity to Guillow's series 500 models, but laser cut of course. Agree with you about this build, very nice indeed.

This kit costs $21.46 from Penn Valley Hobby Center and lists for $24.95. They are the store I got my F-5 and F-18 from and are highly recommended. It will be easy to call them and have it sent to you. I'll be happy to get the exact price if you wish and since you're on my email list just let me know when. Of course, there will be a small handling fee of say, 300 or so Gazillion pounds but I'll take a check, or cheque.

Chris, from the superb quality as seen in your builds, I really wouldn't think that a 1000 series size aircraft would pose any problems. In fact I'm sure it would become a beautiful aircraft as all your others are.

I have decided that I will try to fly this plane. In fact, I will try FF electric. Finding suppliers in the US was rough as non-rubber FF (electric/jetex/rapier) seems to be far more popular in the UK. My plan is to continue the Albatros D.V build until I have the motor and battery in hand.

Looking forward to seeing the Corsair fly. Cant wait to see the progress on the Albatros.
