That is awesome!!! I tried something a little similar with the Guillows DC-3 but stopped short because I could not get it right, you on the other hand have mastered it. Hat's off!!! |

RodN..Thanks for the support.. The DC-3 would be a natural for alum sheeting but I have hardley 'mastered it'.but it is fun..

Very nice. Are you using tooling aluminum? That is very malleable and able to be worked into various shapes. |

This is truley amazing!Ive tryied gluing aluminum to aluminum it didn,t hold.Built a model truck body by interlocking the aluminum peices and clamping it together once.This A26 is beautiful |

FLYBOYZ.. Thanks.. I've found using rubber cement like Weldwood Contact Cement works well to glue Aluminum to balsa (or anyting else).. |

I tried some tacky glue from walmart it held the aluminum to the wood.Then I did a stress test to se if the wood breaks of the glue jiont the glue joint pulled away from the aluminium took a little pressure but Iam going to run some other test to day.I want to try sanding the aluminium before glueing it to the wood. |
