With the Dumas F4D, both are 1/24 scale.

Thanks, guys. This will be my last balsa build for awhile. "Open the pod bay door, Hal!"

Beautiful DD, JFB!!

are you thinking of adding led lights to that Discovery model? this site is helpful - I bought a simple set of lights with a switch and battery box for Olivia's doll house last year. They make it easy https://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/collections/hobby-leds

Surely hope that quote wasn't prophetic, DD.
David Duckett18-Jun-19 15:17
I have already bought the LED light set:-)

Before it happens, can you tell me the length of the canopy on the F-100? Maybe I can adapt it to the F11F-1?
David Duckett18-Jun-19 16:17
Is the kit canopy bad? The F-100 canopy is 4 1/2" long and made of very thin plastic.

Two beautiful models of Great Aircraft - can say no more!
Don C18-Jun-19 19:00
Thanks. DD. Too short. Looks like I'll be learning how to make one. The kit one is fine, but since I have been able to avoid using any of the kit so far, I'm hoping to leave it intact to challenge someone else. :) Sinister, huh?

two good models of a good jet era.

These two are for me almost the ultimate Jet aircraft! Wonderful models as ever from David D. Not much going on here! Is it the Virus?

Outstanding! You really have that "style" of modeling which shows off your best qualities in modeling.

Thanks, gents. Hope y'all are doing OK.
