Short test flights proved promising! I experimented with "Post-It" note tabs to get it trimmed properly. With a RH turn under power, it stalled/porpoised so I added two down tabs on the rear stabilizer. That proved to do the trick! It was doing nice RH circles, then on one flight a gust of wind straightened out the turn and it ended 20 ft up in a tree. Oops! Retrieved successfully with no damage. Flying on one loop of 3/16" FIA Tan w/ a 6" Peck Polymers prop. Time to find a larger field!

If anyone is going to build this plane from the plans, you might consider taking out some of the incidence in the rear stabilizer. I had to add two fairly decently sized down tabs to get it trimmed. I suspect that the size of the rear stabilizer, being so large, is part of the cause. FYI, I used the downthrust angle shown on the plan, and balanced it on the front spar.
