David Duckett 23-Jul-09 13:51 Thanks, all. The prototype color is wild, no doubt, and the real trick is to get an orange that isn't garish and will look good with the red of the hinomarus. Since I don't know what the actual color was, I just mix until I get what looks right to me. But then, it's always like that.;-) Jerry and I also share Shindens in our hangers and there aren't many of them, either. This kit is no longer manufactured but David Diels did produce a laser cut trial kit and might bring it to market if there's any interest.
