Thanks roring40. Chartpak tape comes in various widths and colors. I use 1/32" and 1/64" sizes. They are available at office supply stores. The Top Flite Panel Line Pen is from Tower Hobbies. The Faber-Castell pens are available from hobby shops and art stores and on line. And sometimes a simple Sharpie will work but I prefer the others. |

Thanks David. One of the pains of living upside down on this wondeful planet of ours is that everyday US brand names like Chartpak are basically unheard of down here. You've put me on the right track though - much appreciated. Fortunately Micro-fill has made the leap ! Cheers, Nigel |

That's odd. Micro-Fill is no longer available here. |

Strange about the Micro-fill, it's still listed at my Fv hobby supplier. If it's out of production in the US I had better buy up big ! |

David. So does that mean if there is some Micro-fill at my local hobby shops, I should be stocking-up (hoarding?!)?;)> |

Yes! And send it all to me!! Micro-Fill is in my opinion the very best filler. I understand the problem is that there were some complaints about it and the company quit making it to figure out the problem. Now I've heard that they say the machine which mixes it is broken. At any rate, if you can get it, do. I'm using Hobbylite which is available easily and works quite well and I save my stash of Micro-Fill for "special needs", such as the fillets on the upcoming Raiden. |
