This is a beautiful build. I have an Italian kit of an America's Cup Racer in storage so long I can't remember the name, but I probably should see if th emice got into it. This is inspirational. I do remember it sank off Sable Island. You should start your own museum. How big is this ship?

BrianKilby Like all steel hulled ships of this era, they were concidered the first ships of the modern Navy they were successors of the civil war Iron clads they had back then, at one time in our history the great white fleet represented the power of America a Nation to Recon with. thanks for your reply Boats

Three feet and nine inches! I am telling you this would look great in that pond with all the sailboats! Batten down all hatches, stow all gear and prepare to ram! That bow could be modified or at least beefed up with some A36 steel plate, put an edge on it, get the old girl up to a few knots and lets see what chance that plastic hull has with Force = Mass X Acceleration. You have the mass and with enough power that other variable goes in the right direction. Gotta go, need to move some nuclear Fuel here. That gives me another idea!

Durring the late 19th century the ram bows on these old pre drednaughts was a must to have that was one feature they incorporate was the ram bow with no torpedoes in the forward compartment and the target presented itself in the event of being rtammed it weas carried out,I have ythe Battleship Maine out in te springhouse i will dust it off and tae a couple pictures of her and post it here, talk about some nuke fuel i got to stoke the boilers nad get thi aricobra done i should have her done tonight and tommorow if the goo lord i willing for a Beautiful day i will take some outside pictures of her, thanks Luke fo your reply i am honered once more again Boats
