Outside wheels use silk thread and were laced following incorrect pattern. Center wheel uses Kevlar thread and the kit recommended lacing pattern. The silk and mistaken pattern suit me.

John I have looked at this with a magnification and can't see the error. They look great! What is the actual O.D.?

The error was how I wrapped the chord over the rim. Look for the "X "crosses near the rim, with the Kevlar. Look close in this pix. The silk does not have a crossing near the rim the thread was dirctly wrapped over the rim. Look back for the constuction procedure. For my display purpose the silk looks to me more like real spokes. 3 1/8 inches in diameter if I remember correctly. They are available in other sizes.

The Dridecker is one of my favorite aircraft. Your detail work on the nose cowl is the best Ive seen. Have you decided on a color scheme yet? So many good ones to choose from.

I shall paint a "what if I was there" scheme. Why copy the imagination of someone else.

Agreed!!

Well, it is going to be part of a circus, right? Planes from this era were painted to the pilot's whim so the only requirement would be the Iron Crosses.
