John M Oshust | 20-Sep-09 12:38 | When the epoxy on the dowels sets, the dowels can be cut to give the required spacing with the fuse. Tubing ferrules will allow me to adjust the width to the rquired fit. |
frwyflyer | 20-Sep-09 17:49 | What an interesting solution of spacing floats. That certainly is easier than all that cutting and fiddling. I like the colors and all the detailing going on. |
John M Oshust | 20-Sep-09 18:48 | Thanks. My reference photos of an aquatic Waco shows bars between the floats. I pondered and decide that they would make great structural spacers. Tomorrow I tackle the struts. |
frwyflyer | 20-Sep-09 19:47 | This will be interesting to see how you solve building the struts that attach the fuselage to the floats. There are lots of angles to deal with.. |
John M Oshust | 20-Sep-09 20:33 | Thought about it for two hours. I think I have a handle on the process. Stay tuned to tomorrow's episode! |
