Redid the stab. Made the panels more to scale. The nice thing about Al is that it can easily be peeled and redone. Peel and redo....done this a few times.

Are you concerned with the Al peeling up at all or are you planning on sealing it somehow once completed to satisfaction? Great-looking Jug btw!

I am not knowing. Once in place it takes a good deal of forced to peel it off. I might seal it after all is done.

You might try coating with 'Future'..I've been experimenting with the stuff on my Al build.. It seems to put a thin coat on that may stop air from getting to the glue and drying it out and peeling. Also, it's invisible and may protect the Al from dulling... I'm still testing it on a piece of scrap 30-gauge Al.. So far so good.. Test it first on scrap.

I must state my opinion. "This stuff wont peel" especially the way John is doing it.

If the finish looks to be dulling after a while, you may want to try one of "Mothers" brand aluminum polishes. The "Mothers Billet Polish" (it's a bit newer that the tried and true). It has Carnuba wax in it and protects the aluminum from oxidizing. It polishes REAL good, and it better because it's REALLY expensive. For a little tub that is. I think it's worth it though.
