I set the tire in the center, above the arrow, locked it in place with clay, built up the walls with more Legos and then poured one half of the mold. Then you tear down the walls (Mr. Gorbochev), remove the clay, turn the mold over, rebuild the walls and pour the second half. The Alumilite website has much better tutorials than I just explained.
