I tried a combination of small panels, butt panels, overlapping panels, single and double rivet patterns. All came out really nice. Don't forget that the wings, with the exception of the flaps/ailerons, ARE NOT bare metal, they are have been surface puttied, smoothed and painted to maintain the laminar flow across the airfoil.
