I get immersed in the process and forget to take pictures. heywooood 10-Jun-19 10:54 the pan was laid up using a pad of sheet balsa 1/8" thick..the kit provided formers were then reduced in height by 1/8" and attached at 1-1/2" spacing per the plan. I made a front former mounted to the leading edge of the pad by tracing the fuselage former it attaches to, and a rear former by tracing the fuselage former at the rear attachment point. Then stringers and filler pieces were applied as usual and the thing was sanded and spackled and Gesso'd to death like the rest of the airplane.. Please sign in to comment on this image.
