Jedi, the lack of a response will likely be because most of the builders here have scratch built the landing gear on their P-40 builds. Yours is looking great by the way. |

I looked back at your landing gear and I agree with Roaring 40. They look very nice |

I totally understand, just was struggling with it and wanted to finish this bird. Oh well .... I tried. |

Jedi, to my knowledge, there are no pre fab gear for this kit. Roring40 is correct in that all of the gear seen on this site have been scratch built. I use aluminum tubing, DD used plastic straws and wood, many use dowels. They are pretty easy to duplicate whatever you use. |

Jedi...Me thinks JohnG is building a P-40. Maybe he can point you to a set of legs??? |

I have started to make landing gear (it's been a year long process) I will continue to try and finish what I have. Thanks David, if I get stuck i may call upon your expertise. Thanks everyone for your comments. I have seen others use casted gear on here but I know that most make from scratch. Hope to post some pics of the gear here soon. Thank you. |

On this plane, it's far easier and simpler to make them using tubes or dowels than casting them. |
