It's just like the one in the kit. Fortunately, Guillows is super about replacing defective parts. David Duckett 08-Jun-10 07:39 I e-mailed Guillows about this and this is the answer, paraphrased. The Cherokee is designed to fly as well as be a scale model and the offset is there by design to help counter the torque of the prop and that this is common. Since I don't build to fly, that sounds plausible except that the offset is not on any of the other cowls in this series so instead of this being common, it is in fact an exception. The right side of this is also shorter than the left. I can't fix the mold but I can the rest although it's a pain in the ass. Please sign in to comment on this image.
